어? 왜 수영장이 미술관에 있지?
관람자들의 눈이 동그랗게 되었다.
뉴욕 퀸즈에 있는 P.S.1 Contemporary Artcenter에 놓여있는 린드로의 작품이다. 현대미술의 가장 큰 장점이라고 할 수 있는 다양한 소재중에서 눈에 띄는 오브제이다.
밑에 있는 관객이 마치 물안에 있는 사람들처럼 보이고, 또 다른 시각으로는 살짝 훔쳐보는(?) 느낌.
물안의 아른아른한 시각과 작품의 느낌이 너무도 새롭다.
일본에서 몇년전에 보았던 린드로의 작품보다 훨씬 밀도감이 있어보였다. 아마 주변의 나무느낌의 배경이 더욱 작품을 밀도있게 보이게 한것 같다.
